Scope and information we process

Orion Studio provides software and integrations for business workspaces, including the bank-data connection used by AIR, the restaurant management application. We process account and workspace information, content you submit, integration permissions, and operational records needed to provide these services. Technical information, such as browser information, request logs, and connection status, helps us operate and troubleshoot the service.

Bank connections through Stripe

Connecting a financial account is optional. When you authorize a connection through Stripe Financial Connections, Orion receives the account information covered by your permission: institution and account names, account type, last four digits, balances, and transaction details such as amounts, descriptions, dates, and status. We also keep connection identifiers, permissions, and access records to associate the connection with the authorized owner and workspace.

Bank authentication takes place in the Stripe or financial institution connection flow; Orion does not receive your bank login password. Stripe processes information under its Privacy Policy.

How financial data is used

For AIR connections, Orion provides the authorized bank data to AIR for bookkeeping, cash-flow visibility, transaction categorization, and reconciliation with expenses and invoices. This bank-feed integration is read-only: it does not initiate payments or move money. Connecting a bank feed does not authorize a payment. Separate payment services have their own authorization flows.

Who receives information

Information is processed by the services needed to deliver the features you use. These include Stripe for financial connectivity, AIR for restaurant financial workflows, and hosting, database, and authentication providers. Workspace access is limited by the applicable account permissions. Other integrations and AI features may process information you supply to those features through their service providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to investigate misuse and protect the service.

The AIR bank feed is for your business financial management, not the sale of your financial data. AIR explains its additional data handling in its Privacy Policy.

Your choices and retention

You choose whether to link an account and which available accounts to share. You can disconnect a bank connection in AIR Bank Transactions. Disconnecting stops further access through that connection; it does not automatically erase previously imported bookkeeping records or connection audit records. Those records may remain for the operation of your account, security, reconciliation, or applicable recordkeeping obligations.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the workspace before acting on a request. Deletion requests are subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.

Security and updates

Orion uses authenticated access and workspace-scoped permissions to restrict connected financial data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this page when this policy changes and display the effective date above.
